No. FoundSOS works entirely through a web link stored on the NFC chip. Anyone with a modern phone can scan and reach you β no app, no sign-up for the finder.
Only a link, such as foundsos.com/t/8F7KQ2. All your details live on our servers, so you can change them anytime without re-programming the tag.
Never, unless you choose to add it. You decide exactly what's visible β a phone number, a contact form, or just a message. For kids and seniors we recommend no address at all.
The finder sees a simple "This profile is currently inactive" notice. No contact details, no history β and you can switch it back on instantly.
No. The finder is asked whether they'd like to share their location to help return your item. If they decline, we may record an approximate city by IP, nothing more.
